Dirty Pretty Things était un groupe de rock formé en 2005 à Londres, Angleterre.
Carl Barât, alors membre de The Libertines forme le groupe après une dispute avec Pete Doherty. Le groupe est composé de Carl Barât (chant/guitare), Didz Hammond (basse), Gary Powell (batterie) et Anthony Rossomando (guitare).
Leur premier album 'Waterloo to Anywhere' est sorti en 2006.
En 2008, le groupe annonce officiellement sa dissolution.
