Explications:

Le Spanish Castle était un club situé au sud de Seattle, où Hendrix se rendait souvent pour parfois y jouer. Il l'appelle probablement Spanish Castle Magic car il y pense avec nostalgie et joie, ou encore à cause de l'ambiance qui se dégageait de cet endroit grâce à la musique (de nombreux groupes de rock s'y rendaient).
