Paroles et traduction de la chanson «Oro Sé Do Bheatha 'bhaile» par Sinead O'Connor/ Magda Davitt

Oro Sé Do Bheatha 'bhaile (Tu Es Bienvenue Chez Toi)

Se do bheatha a bhean ba leanmhar ! (Welcome Oh woman who was so afflicted)
B'e ar gcreach tu bheith i ngeibhinn (It was our ruin that you were in bondage)
Ton esclavage a été notre ruine (1)
Do dhuiche bhrea i seilbh meirleach (Our fine land in the possesion of theives)
(And sold to the foreigners)
Et vendu aux étrangers

[Chorus]
[Refrain]
Oro, se do bheatha 'bhaile ! x3 (Óró ! You are welcome home ! )
Oro ! Tu es bienvenue chez toi ! X3
Anois ar theacht an tsamhraidh. (Now that summer is coming)
A présent que l'été arrive

Ta Grainne Mhaol ag teacht thar saile, (Grainne Mhaol is coming over the sea)
Grainne Mhaol (2) vient d'outre-mer
Oglaigh armtha lei mar gharda (Armed warriors along with her as guard)
Gaeil iad fein 's ni Gaill na Spainnigh (They are Irishmen, not English or Spanish)
(And they will rout the foreigners)
Et ils chasseront les étrangers

[Chorus]
[Refrain]

A bhui le Ri na bhfeart go bhfeiceam (May it please the God of Miracles that we may see)
Muna mbeam beo 'na dhiaidh ach seachtain (Although we only live a week after it)
Grainne Mhaol agus mile gaiscioch (Grainne Mhaol and a thousand warriors)
Grainne Mhaol et un millier de guerriers
Ag fogairt fain ar Ghallaibh. (Dispersing the foreigners)
Dispersant les étrangers

[Chorus]
[Refrain]

5230 2 2 4 Jmcd89 Non, "étranger" me parait être correcte.
