Biographie de Bathory
Bathory est un groupe de metal formé en 1983 à Vällingby, Suède.
Au départ, le groupe est composé de Quorthon (guitare/chant) et de ses musiciens Freddan (Fredrick Hanoi, basse entre 1983 et 1984), Jonas Åkerlund (Vans McBurger, batterie 1983-1984), Vvornth (batterie 1989-1991), Kothaar (basse 1989-1991) et The Animal, Björn Kristensen (chant 1983).
Leur premier album 'Bathory ' est sorti en 1984.
A partir de 2001, Quorthon assure seul le chant et les instruments sur les autres albums. Il meurt le jeudi 3 juin 2004 d'une crise cardiaque.
